We're back from an awesome visit to the beach. The weather was wonderful (it was all I could do to restrain myself from calling all of my friends from my little chair nestled by the waves) and the kids had a relaxing time burying eachother in the sand and building sand castles. There were quite a few jellyfish in the water but that didn't seem to slow them down...
We did a little shopping and got some Christmas gifts for the kids. (You know, the ones I was going to MAKE...I was having a hard time fabricating a camp stove for my scout). The guys had a blast at the Bass Pro Shop while we girls found three of the most precious black haired baby dolls at a neat toy shop. We also "found" the Godiva shop and indulged a little.
MR got a wonderful bit of news while we were away. She had made it to the call back rounds of auditions for the school play coming up (101 Dalmations) and found out on Friday that she GOT A PART!!!!! 'Don't know which one yet but rehearsals start Tuesday and she is thrilled.
