We went out to claim our tree this past weekend...of course it had to be to TALLEST one on the lot!
(What is it with my husband and really tall trees?)
The Bigs were tons of help...
and the annual decorating of the gingerbread house...only Mags wanted to do it this year...but that was fine--she got to eat all the leftovers.
Can you tell she had a bit of a sugar high going on?

Your family is so lovely! What a wonderful tree! You make me feel like Christmas - we have not been able to put up decorations or the tree yet, because we are watching and waiting and cautiously packing because we are currently experiencing a Major flood here. A 9.67metre high flood yesterday with the levee banks holding it, they had predicted higher but with more rain due tomorrow and more throughout the week we are praying more rain does not come!
P.S. She did a wonderful job on the gingerbread house!
