Here I am trying to tell him how awesome the shoes are...he wasn't buying it.

Dr. Joseph Khoury...a trully sweet doctor....and one I hope we don't have to see again anytime soon.
It is Thursday (casts came off on Monday) as I write this and Grady is still not walking but is not as sore as he was. He will wear the shoes and bar 23 hours a day for the next 5 weeks and then we'll transition to nights and naps. We have to stretch his feet several times a day and he trully HATES that but he's had a few baths now and his legs and feet are beginning to look normal, although still skinny. The callouses he had formed from walking on the tops of his feet are nearly GONE...it's amazing how much he's been through....how much my family has been through over the past few months.
But we are well and every day is a little better. And my boy will get his first pair of real shoes for Christmas!

YEAH Grady!!! So excited you've finally made it to this point. He'll walk in his own time - took Michael from the end of Oct to the first week of Jan to take his first unassisted steps! Of course we missed it - my parents witnessed it though. So it goes.
We had fun buying Michael his first pair of shoes - he was sad when he outgrew them!
