so much goin' on round here!

Girl's night out at Chef Lee's--probably the last time I get to enjoy a meal without having to cut someone's meat for awhile.

Dropped Mags off at camp with her bestest old buddy, Naomi.

Reames rode his bike in a triathlon last weekend and his team even placed 2nd--awesome!
I think we may have found his sport! Way to go- bud!

Ruby and Mags did a little experimenting with hairdo's--this one was ...

...interesting....

Man- he's gonna kill me for this...Adams found out the hard way that he has very sensitive skin--he's allergic to Proactiv--or anything else containing Benzoil Peroxide.

Not to worry- some steroids and a shot and he is back to normal...

Mags & I had some time while the boys were away at Deep Creek camp to sew...she picked the pattern, the fabric, and sewed this precious top (which she will wear with leggings in the Fall) all by herself...and then promptly decided she did not like the neckline. oh well--- we had fun learning!

Been a busy couple of weeks as we prepare for our trip to China to bring home our 3rd son!!! & 5th child! The kids have all been involved in so much already this summer...CHS football workouts and camp for Adams, triathlon training and camp for Reames, sewing and camp for Mags, water park, fishing with dad, etc. Trying to squeeze as much life out of these few summer break weeks as we can!

We did make the momentous decision to homeschool our middle schoolers this Fall so in the midst of packing for China I have been searching curriculum catalogs and meeting with other HS moms. It's exciting and we are looking forward to our new family & home life.

Better go to bed--lots going on tomorrow!
