American Girls ROCK!!!

(There was even a place to hang your doll while you went potty!)

So, my old buddy, Holly & I (with our girlz) spent the day at that mecca known as "The American Girl Store" and let me just say...it was WILD! We got there at 10:30 and we had an 11 am lunch reservation. Folks were lined up at the doors waiting to get in when we got there. CRAZY! We stood back acting all cool and stuff but when that door opened, we were ON like the rest of them. We're talkin' madhouse, baby.

But really, we were amazed at the crowd. We went on in and had our lunch and afterward we SHOPPED! MR & Nomi picked out birthday gifts for eachother and MR picked out a matching outfit for her and her doll. Nomi got her 1st AG doll- she picked one that looks like her and named her Sarah.

Holly & I met when our girls were babies and we hit it off over fabric and sewing. We've been close ever since and because the girls have close birthdays...we've always celebrated together. The Fowlers moved to Arkansas last year but that didn't stop them from coming back for summer camp or us having a birthday celebration. We'll probably wrap it up by seeing the new AG 'Kit" movie this week.

Nomi spent the night with us last night and she and MR were in rare form. It was so nice to see the girls together again. We miss them so much and are hoping they'll make it back to Columbus one day.
