Middle School shenanigans (" Oh, wait! Is my 'L' backwards?")

We attended the National Junior Honor Society Induction Ceremony at Richards Middle School last night where AC was tapped to be a member. 63 (39 girls & 24 boys) kids were inducted. You have to have a 90 average in all of your classes to join and many of AC's closest friends were invited as well. (AC has never made a B in school ...yet...MENSA look out!) Afterwards, there was a reception in the media center and for the first time, I got to see middle school hormones at work in my child. YIKES! I think they all act goofier than we did! (Of course, my old brain forgets, I'm sure)

Anyway...so so proud. AC works hard but makes it look like he's hardly workin' and he is an all around good guy. 'Just waitin' on the rest of the middle school crowd to GET IT! Middle School is so hard, isn't it?
