We had a checkup in Birmingham this week and we are getting very close to closing the chapter on the special needs portion of Grady's journey. It's starting to feel odd when I tell people that ask that Gman was a special needs adoption...they're like...REALLY? WHY?

I was so touched because Dr. Khoury pulled it right up on his phone to show all the other doctors.
I shot this as we walked in on Monday.
Amazing how quickly we forget that walking is a huge new skill
for Grady and take for granted his new ease with his abilities.
NO TEARS!
This was the 1st visit that did not have Gman in complete tears and hysteria!
(He was busy watching cartoons on the TV)
AFTER...8 months later
Sorry for the dark picture but Dr. Khoury took this with his phone and sent it to me. He said Grady's feet had turned out wonderfully and couldn't be any better!
We go back in 6 months for new shoes and in about a year we will be done with visits all together...no shoes, no bar...no nuttin'!

Truly amazing, his feet look awesome. Hard to believe the change in just 8 months - WOW! Great job doctors and Grady for enduring the treatment. God is good!!!
