Remember when your family attended Riverfest Weekend and the Pig Jig Cookoff but never had the opportunity to purchase barbecue from those championship cookers? The festival days are long gone, but don’t despair! This is the one and only chance for you and everyone you know to purchase quality championship pork—butts and baby-back ribs—as well as sandwich, ribs, and chicken plates from our award winning teams. The PTA is also planning a school and neighborhood night with music,
great barbecue and fun! See below for details!
Dates: Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9, 2009
Location: Adjacent to Cafeteria-Sue Mack Drive Side

Friday, May 8
3:15 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Pick up ordered butts and ribs;
Bake Sale Begins
4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
“Richards Middle School Celebrates Our Neighborhood”
Pork Sandwich Plates, Rib Plates, and Chicken Plates for Sale;
Bake Sale
Families are encouraged to bring their blankets and chairs to enjoy a barbecue dinner on the grounds! “Live” music!
(All students and children must be supervised by an adult
present at all times on the school grounds!)
Saturday, May 9
8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Pick up ordered butts and ribs
All proceeds from the barbecue sales
benefit Richards Middle School!!!!!
