MR's on the mend...

This is the incision where the skin graft was taken from--it was then placed into her ear to form a new eardrum...wicked cool!

MR had surgery on Friday to fix her hearing (or lack there of) problem. It was an all day experience but the procedure went fine and she is bouncing back quickly. We arrived at the hospital at 6:30 am only to be taken back at 10:45 am...THAT was a long wait! The surgery took an hour and a half and she spent several hours in recovery trying to come out of anesthesia...poor thing takes after her mama--nausea. But it's over now and she came home to a sweet treat from Aunt Kaci and beautiful flowers from Nana (thanks Mr. Wimberly!). MR insisted I take a picture of her ear so she could see what all the fuss was about.
