Meet Big. (short for Big Daddy)
(& that name suits his personality to a tee)

Today is his 64th birthday and I know his mama is singing in heaven. Big Daddy is a grumpy, ornery, stodgy ol' dude and we wouldn't want him any other way! Big has lived an amazing life and has had several very interesting careers but above all he is honest, full of character (you can tell, huh?), forthright, deeply Christian, funny, a right wing conservative, and loving. He loves all of us equally (although HE might tell you he loves LE the most) and has taken the time to make so many memories with his 2 children & 6 grandkids. He is an accomplished chef, a school bus driver, a retired hotel manager, a former bar and restaurant owner, a fly fisherman, a world traveler, a toilet seat inspector, a two time cancer survivor, a laryngectomee, a pilot, and a thousand other things...but most important of all...
he's my dad, and he's BIG!
