I usually try to get a Christmas dress made in the summer so that I don't have to worry about it when the hustle and bustle of the season is upon me. It's also kinda novel to work on something Christmassy when it's so hot outside and it always takes me back to sweet memories of holdays past. This year...we finally have our LE home and it will be even more joyous than usual.
This dress is Ellen McCarn's back wrap jumper in lime pima check. The smocking plate is Louann Lamar's "Gingerbread Lane". I took some liberty with the color selections and I think it turned out even better than hers!
